NEWS: APC bars two pastors from challenging governorship primaries

The decision All Progressives Congress has precluded two serving priests from challenging governorship races in their states.

The clergyman for correspondence and data innovation Adebayo Shittu and that of ladies undertakings Aisha Alhassan were not cleared by the gathering's screening advisory groups.

Three different clergymen Usani Uguru Usani of the service of Niger Delta, Mansur Ali, who heads the Service of Barrier and Mustapha Shehu, Priest of State, Power, Works and Lodging were cleared to challenge.

The primaries are planned to hang on Sunday, September 30.

In spite of the fact that the purpose behind not clearing Alhassan was not expressed in an announcement discharged by the gathering on Thursday evening, it expressed that Shittu was excluded in light of the fact that he didn't experience the necessary one year National Youth Administration Corps.

Shittu has protected his choice not to enlist in the Corps when he assumed.
